    No. 117 Mechanics Belt, Tan

    Regular price 125 USD
Our No. 117 is a Billykirk classic and a consistent head-turner, versatile enough for jeans or a suit. Inspired by our mentor's grandfather, who crafted similar belts for the auto industry in the 1950s, its genius lies in the details: the leather flap covering the buckle protects car finishes from scratches. Simple. Effective. Pure Americana. We updated the original with a slightly wider strap, refined tips, and our signature hand-stitched details. Guitarists love the 117 because it keeps guitars scratch-free and silent during studio sessions, and motorcyclists appreciate the same flap protecting their gas tanks on the road. PLEASE SEE OUR BELT SIZING GUIDE BELOW TO ENSURE A PROPER FIT.

    Belt Sizing Guide

Your Billykirk belt size will be 2½ inches smaller than your waist circumference. We recommend measuring your waist to ensure an accurate fit. Here are two easy ways:

Method 1: Using a Fabric Tape Measure

    1. Thread the tape measure through your belt loops where you normally wear your belt
    2. Keep the tape snug but not tight — leave space for one finger between the tape and your body
    3. Record your measurement in inches, and check our table below

Method 2: Using a Piece of String (Watch a video tutorial)

    1. Wrap a piece of string around your waist through your belt loops
    2. Mark where the string meets and lay it flat against a ruler
    3. Record your measurement in inches, and check our table below
If your waist measurement is: Your Billykirk belt size is:
