Made in our founding city of Los Angeles, the 20-Year Carryall Collection celebrates the life of Billykirk and one of our most iconic styles. We made our first carryall in the early 2000s to transport supplies and tools between trade shows. We quickly fell in love with it and decided to sell it as BILLYKIRK’s first bag: The Mason Bag.
Originally designed for a mason to carry their gear, this durable bag, with its steel frame and masonite bottom, wasn’t exactly suited for the everyday customer. If we were to sell it, we had to make it more refined. Over the years, the Carryall has become a streamlined alternative to the classic duffle bag. Since its inception, it’s been featured in GQ, Details, Garden & Gun, and Vanity Fair, just to name a few. Often imitated but never replicated, the Billykirk Carryall has become a timeless staple in American-made bags.
Revised in early 2018, the Carryall Collection now features a wire-framed zipper construction, making one of our most iconic styles lighter and more functional than ever. The new No. 478 16" Carryall is the perfect size for a night away. One exterior and two interior slip pockets keep small goods like phones and wallets organized, while the internal snap-clip makes for a quick and easy way to store keys.
Our 20-Year Carryall Collection is made with high-quality 20-oz canvas and Wickett & Craig full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather produced in the U.S. using American hides. Whether you're buying one or several sizes from our Carryall line, they're sure to be lasting companions on all of your future adventures. Happy trails!
